 Job Summary:    

The Community Outreach Representative is responsible for the effective and successful development of new business contacts and referral sources, as well as maintaining on-going contact and good rapport with existing referral sources. Also coordinates community outreach events to increase awareness regarding the hospice benefit and other services provided by the agency.

 Qualifications:

• Be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Education or experience requirements: Two years experience in healthcare and or medical industry marketing preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency of computer and internet applications, particularly MS Office.
• Demonstrates ability to organize efficiently and establish priorities for job functions.
• Demonstrates excellence in both written and oral communication skills including spelling and grammar.
• Demonstrates ability to handle stressful and delicate situations with tact, diplomacy, and attention to their importance.
• Demonstrates ability to represent Ambercare in a positive and professional manner. Must have a valid NM Driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation available during work hours.  Vehicle must be properly registered and insured in accordance with state law.
• Travel within the company service area to industry events and outreach services
