We Honor Veterans
We Honor Veterans is a collaborative program between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is a pioneering effort focused on the recognition of the unique needs of veterans and their families. Ambercare Hospice has partnered with We Honor Veterans in an effort to increase access to hospice services and improve the quality of care received by America’s veterans as they near the end of life. Ambercare Hospice has committed to providing our staff with the education and resources that will help them serve those who have served us. Through respectful inquiry, compassionate listening and acknowledgement of their service to our country, Ambercare Hospice seeks to accompany and guide veterans and their families toward a more peaceful ending.
