This award was presented on 3/30/2012 and is achieved only when a medical equipment provider demonstrates a high level of quality in all their business operations and services. Ambercare Medical Supply Co. earned the three-year accreditation after completing a comprehensive review process that focuses on meeting quality standards and a commitment to quality operational practices and procedures in the areas of financial stability, human resource training, patient care, delivery services, billing practices and maintenance of products and equipment. Accreditation by the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation assures Medicare and other health payers that the highest levels of quality are practiced within all areas of the company.

HQAA’s interactive, web-based design is specifically aimed at the durable medical equipment industry, providing a targeted approach to accreditation and quality improvement.

Truth or Consequences, NM — December 28, 2011 — Ambercare Corporation, a New Mexico employee-owned provider of home healthcare, hopsice, personal care services and medical equipment & supplies is proud to announce its First Annual Ambercare Golf Tournament to benefit the Ambercare Foundation, the 501c3 notfor-profit charitable arm of New Mexico home healthcare provider. The golf tournament will raise funds for individuals who need care and attention but insurance, Medicaid or Medicare programs are not sufficient to cover costs associated with home care, and which private pay is not an option due to financial hardship.

“It breaks our hearts when we see a homebound patient who desperately needs help or assistance, but due to no fault of their own, cannot afford it. The First Annual Ambercare Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 12:00 pm at the Sierra del Rio Golf Course at Turtleback Mountain Resort in Elephant Butte, New Mexico.
