Ambercare Foundation is dedicated to helping homebound persons remain in their homes by providing short term financial assistance and locating community services.
The Ambercare Foundation started in 2006 to help homebound people stay in their homes. Ambercare’s Founders, Mike and Mary Merrell started to realize there was definitely a gap in the system and people who needed temporary financial services didn’t have the resources to remain comfortably in their homes.
The foundation is dedicated to helping homebound persons remain in their home by providing short term financial assistance and locating community services. The Ambercare foundation averages about 4-5 financial requests each month, and the number continues to grow.
Ambercare Foundation is a 501c3 foundation. Contributions to Ambercare Foundation are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
You do not have to be an Ambercare patient to receive assistance from Ambercare Foundation.
To qualify for assistance, you must be homebound, meaning leaving home takes considerable, taxing effort.
